VisiFlora Review: What It Is, What It Costs and Where to Buy It
This is our independent review of VisiFlora, a one-a-day capsule sold online as “precision vision support that starts in the gut”. It sums up what the sales page says is inside, how one capsule compares with the eye-vitamin doses tested in trials, who should avoid it, when to see an eye doctor instead, what it costs and how the refund works. VisiFlora in 30 seconds
✅ Pros
- Names many recognized eye ingredients, including lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc and saffron.
- Prices are clearly listed, it is a one-time payment, and three or six bottles ship free in the US.
- Its references page links to real research, including the AREDS findings.
❌ Cons
- No Supplement Facts label; only the zinc amount (11 mg) is given.
- One capsule a day cannot hold the doses used in eye trials such as AREDS2.
- Contains beta-carotene, which AREDS2 dropped because of more lung cancers in former smokers.
- The “gut-eye” idea is untested, and the formula contains no gut-acting ingredients.
- No single-bottle option: the smallest order is two bottles for $158.
- A 60-day refund that requires returning every bottle, minus shipping, and fear-based affiliate marketing.
What it costs
Prices as shown on the official site on 28 October 2026; they can change. The cost per day is over the supply shown, including any shipping charge.
What VisiFlora says is in each capsule
The sales page groups its ingredients into four “complexes” but shows no Supplement Facts label, and it gives an amount for only one ingredient:
- Vision Defense Matrix: astaxanthin, vitamin C, vitamin E, copper, selenium and chromium.
- Gut-Eye Barrier Complex: grape seed extract, rutin, quercetin, taurine and alpha lipoic acid.
- Vision Performance Boosters: ginkgo biloba, coleus forskohlii and eyebright.
- Macular & Lens Protection Blend: vitamin A (as beta-carotene), lutein and zeaxanthin, zinc (11 mg), bilberry, lycopene and saffron.
That is 21 named ingredients, although the page calls it “22-in-1”. We found no label on the sales page, the help pages or the seller’s affiliate page.

Why one capsule a day matters
A typical capsule holds well under a gram of powder, shared here between about 21 ingredients. The AREDS2 formula, the only eye supplement with strong trial evidence, uses these daily amounts:
| Nutrient | AREDS2 daily dose | VisiFlora |
|---|---|---|
| Vitamin C | 500 mg | Not given |
| Vitamin E | 400 IU | Not given |
| Zinc | 80 mg (25 mg also tested) | 11 mg |
| Copper | 2 mg | Not given |
| Lutein | 10 mg | Not given |
| Zeaxanthin | 2 mg | Not given |
| Beta-carotene | Removed from the formula | Included |
The vitamin C alone in AREDS2 weighs 500 mg. Even a lower-dose version of that formula is far more than one capsule can carry alongside 15 other ingredients, and VisiFlora’s one stated amount, 11 mg of zinc, is the daily recommended intake for men, well below the 25 to 80 mg tested in AREDS2.
What the research shows, at a glance
VisiFlora itself has never been tested in a published study, so these ratings are for its main ingredients, from the studies in our full review:
In AREDS2, the eye vitamins slowed progression to advanced age-related macular degeneration in people who already had intermediate disease. They did not reduce cataract surgery and do not restore lost vision, and there is no evidence they help people with healthy eyes.
Grape seed, quercetin, rutin, taurine, alpha lipoic acid, chromium, coleus and eyebright have no good trials showing they improve vision.
The gut-eye idea
VisiFlora’s pitch is that vision support “starts in the gut”. Researchers are studying how gut bacteria may relate to eye diseases such as macular degeneration, uveitis and dry eye, but almost all of that work is in animals or observational studies, and no treatment based on it has been proven.
More to the point, none of VisiFlora’s ingredients is a probiotic, a prebiotic fibre or a digestive enzyme. Whatever the gut-eye link turns out to be, nothing in this formula acts on gut bacteria directly.
Who should avoid it, or ask first
- Smokers and former smokers: avoid eye formulas with beta-carotene. In AREDS2, lung cancer was more common in former smokers given beta-carotene: 2.0% against 0.9%.
- Blood thinners: ginkgo may raise the risk of bleeding.
- Blood pressure medicines: coleus forskohlii may lower blood pressure further.
- Diabetes medicines: chromium and alpha lipoic acid may lower blood sugar.
- Other eye vitamins: taking two formulas can double up zinc and beta-carotene.
Because none of the amounts is published, ask a pharmacist before taking it with regular medicines.
When to see an eye doctor instead
Floaters and night vision problems are among the symptoms VisiFlora’s affiliate material targets, but some eye symptoms need a doctor, not a supplement.
A sudden shower of new floaters, flashes of light, or a dark shadow or curtain across your vision can mean a retinal detachment. Go to an eye doctor or emergency department the same day.
- Blurred or distorted central vision, such as straight lines looking wavy, can be a sign of macular degeneration and needs an eye examination.
- Night vision getting worse is often caused by cataracts, which surgery treats well.
- Regular eye checks after 40, or sooner with diabetes or a family history of eye disease, catch problems early.
How VisiFlora is marketed
The sales page itself is calm and lists prices clearly, and its references page links to real research, including the National Eye Institute’s AREDS findings, although it does not explain how VisiFlora’s doses compare. The seller’s affiliate page is blunter: it tells promoters that “88M+ boomers are panicking about going blind”, lists floaters, night blindness and eye discharge as “pain points”, and offers email copy promising a “12-second eye detox” that clears vision faster than drops. If an ad like that brought you here, treat its claims with caution.
Which package makes sense?
There is no single bottle. Two bottles cost $158 plus a shipping fee that the shipping policy puts at $9.95 in the US; three cost $177 and six cost $294, both with free US shipping. That is about $2.80, $1.97 and $1.63 a day. Every package includes three e-books, it is a one-time payment, and the “regular” price of $99 a bottle is not what anyone pays.
Because there is no label, you cannot check any dose before you buy. Two bottles is the most we would risk, inside the 60-day refund window.
- Two bottles ($167.95 with shipping) let you read the label on arrival and decide.
- Six bottles ($294) give the lowest price per bottle, but commit you to half a year of an untested formula.
If you have intermediate macular degeneration, a standard AREDS2 formula at the trial doses is the evidence-based choice. Our eye health guide explains who it helps.
How to take it, if you try it
- The dose: one capsule a day with a meal; the fat in food helps the body absorb lutein, zeaxanthin and astaxanthin.
- Read the label on arrival: check the beta-carotene, zinc and vitamin A amounts, and do not take it with another eye vitamin.
- Keep your eye appointments: a supplement is not a substitute for checks or prescribed treatment.
- Stop if you get stomach upset, headaches or unusual bruising, and ask a pharmacist.
How the 60-day refund works
- Contact support first through the seller’s contact page, giving your order number.
- Send back all the items you received, opened or not, to the warehouse in Aurora, Colorado, at your own cost.
- Expect the purchase price back minus any shipping fees. The policy says a return posted on day 59 still counts if it arrives a few days later.
- If you get no reply, ClickBank’s order support at clkbank.com can help, because ClickBank processed the payment.
👍 It may suit you if…
- You have never smoked and want a general eye supplement anyway.
- You take no blood thinners, blood pressure or diabetes medicines, or a pharmacist has agreed.
- You will read the label on arrival and decide within 60 days.
⚠️ Skip it, or ask first, if…
- You smoke or used to smoke: it contains beta-carotene.
- You have intermediate macular degeneration: an AREDS2 formula at trial doses is the evidence-based choice.
- You have sudden floaters, flashes or a shadow in your vision: see an eye doctor today.
- You already take another eye vitamin.
- You want to see a label before you buy.

Questions people ask about VisiFlora
Is this the official VisiFlora website?
No. This is an independent VisiFlora review by Health and Wellness Studies, and we earn a commission on sales through our links. VisiFlora is sold at getvisiflora.com through ClickBank.
What is VisiFlora?
A one-a-day capsule sold as a “22-in-1” vision formula based on the gut-eye connection. Its page names about 21 ingredients, including lutein, zeaxanthin, astaxanthin, bilberry, saffron, zinc and beta-carotene, but shows no label.
What are the ingredients in VisiFlora?
Astaxanthin, vitamins C and E, copper, selenium, chromium, grape seed, rutin, quercetin, taurine, alpha lipoic acid, ginkgo, coleus forskohlii, eyebright, beta-carotene, lutein, zeaxanthin, zinc (11 mg), bilberry, lycopene and saffron. No other amounts are given.
Does VisiFlora work?
There is little reason to expect it to. It has not been tested, one capsule cannot hold the doses used in eye trials such as AREDS2, and bilberry did not help night vision in rigorous trials.
What is the gut-eye connection?
Researchers are studying whether gut bacteria influence eye diseases, mostly in animals and observational studies. VisiFlora contains no probiotics, prebiotic fibre or other ingredients that act on gut bacteria.
Is VisiFlora safe?
It contains beta-carotene, linked to more lung cancers in former smokers in AREDS2, so smokers and former smokers should avoid it. Ginkgo may raise bleeding risk with blood thinners, and chromium and alpha lipoic acid may lower blood sugar.
Can VisiFlora help macular degeneration?
The proven option for intermediate macular degeneration is an AREDS2 formula at the trial doses. VisiFlora shares some of its ingredients, but in amounts too small to match, and it adds beta-carotene, which AREDS2 removed.
Can VisiFlora get rid of floaters?
No supplement is proven to clear floaters. A sudden increase in floaters, flashes of light or a shadow across your vision needs an eye doctor the same day, because it can mean a retinal detachment.
How do you take VisiFlora?
One capsule a day with a meal. One bottle of 30 capsules lasts a month.
How much does VisiFlora cost?
Two bottles cost $158 plus $9.95 US shipping, three cost $177 and six cost $294, both with free US shipping. There is no single-bottle option.
Is VisiFlora a subscription?
No, it is a one-time payment, and every package includes three e-books. Further offers may appear after checkout; you can decline them.
Is VisiFlora sold on Amazon?
It is sold at getvisiflora.com through ClickBank. A bottle from a marketplace does not come from the seller and may not be covered by the refund.
How does the VisiFlora refund work?
You have 60 days from when you receive the order. Contact support, then send back all the bottles, opened or not, to the warehouse in Aurora, Colorado, at your own cost. The refund is the purchase price minus shipping fees.
